 Welcome to the 2009
"Native American Golf Tour"

2009 Update

As some of you may know, the NAGT is undergoing some changes. We have applied for and received Non-profit status. We have also applied for funding from the Shakopee, but have been requested by them to re-submit with more details. This has taken time and along with Becky's mom passing has thrown a wrench into this summer. We have decided to suspend operations for this season and apply all tour cards good for 2009 to 2010.
This will allow us to request funding again and solicit industry sponsorship of merchandise and more. Kerry and Larry have worked hard to keep this moving forward.
I apologize for the late notice on all of this. but promise to do my best to make next years schedule the best ever. Please keep in touch with your suggestions. I am planning an advisory board meeting in the near future to get everyone on the same page.

Thanks for your understanding,

Dean

Kokomoss White goes back to back in NAGT 2008 Finals wins.

Kokomoss White of the Oneida Tribe of Indians has successfully defended his finals crown this year. Kokomoss overcame a four stroke deficit after day one to win by two strokes. He shot a 153 two day total on a tough course with rain on the second day. Gilbert Chapman of Lac du Flambeau held the first day lead and settled for second place with a 155. Conrad King, who is always on top or near the top finished third at 157.

The tournament was held at the beautiful Trappers Turn Golf Club in the Wisconsin Dells. Trappers has undergone a magnificent remodel of the clubhouse and its 3-9 hole courses are challenging and inspiring.
